In 13 weeks I'll have two little ones.

(Totally not ready for Hadden to be here...I'm completely surprised with myself that I don't have everything I need and his room is not even close to being finished.) I guess that's what happens when you have a crazy toddler running around.

Feeling a bit better and more

It's Thursday, only ten days until Christmas and 15 weeks until Hadden arrives. Emerson is starting to feel a little better and Christmas festivities are beginning. Where does time go? Im not ready for Christmas. I'm enjoying all the activities, music and cheesy Christmas movies that lead up to the wonderful day with family. With all of that, I must remember the reason for the season. Tonight Emerson reminded us that Christmas is Jesus' birthday. Amazing, huh? Let's all remember the real reason for the season.

Nothing is worse than a sick baby! Fever, cough and runny nose. All she wants is her mommy.

Tomorrow! and Miss Ladybug

Miss Ladybug can't wait to find out tomorrow morning if she's going to be a big sister to a BOY or GIRL. Emerson points to the sonogram pictures and says, 'baby sister' so we'll find out if she's right. No one will know until Sunday. Do you think I can keep it a secret?!? I DO! Check back Sunday afternoon/evening to see pictures of our revelling party.

Revamping blogs...

As of yesterday, I didn't have a clue how to do much on my blog. I got the wild idea to search on how to create a banner in Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. Only one word can describe it...SIMPLE! If you ever get the wild idea to change your blog...let me know. I'd love to help you out!

One persons junk is another ones treasure...

This is my newest project. I took an old cabinet and painted it a fun "Good Juju" color and added fabric to the front. This is definitely not perfect. Some of the fabric has bubbled up in a few places (not sure why or how) but it is so cute. It is currently in Emerson's bedroom but when Jacob comes home and sees it there...it will probably have to go. She has too much "stuff." So...if interested..let me know! I will sell it for $30. Working on more fun projects. I'll keep you posted!

What a fun vacation Jacob and I had! It was nice to get away from the everyday stresses of life and enjoy time together. Other than with our daughter...we haven't had that much fun together "alone" in awhile.
