Just a little behind...

Big Sis is giving Hadden a little birthday hug.
And again...

Happy Birthday party day little man!
Singing Happy Birthday...He's loving it..
Loves his birthday cake!
Ok, I've had enough now Mommy!
Hadden is now 13 months old, where does time go?
He's walking, climbing, falling down, becoming a tad ornery and a little naughty. He loves the outdoors, playing downstairs, reading books, eating crackers, and LOVES any truck or
tractor. He still continues to be our sensitive, precious little baby boy.

Back to School

Over the last few weeks I have spent countless hours researching and investigating the best possible option to keep my teaching license current. After many stressful hours/days, I finally have it figured out. The best solution for my family and myself is to go back to school to receive my master's degree. It is all online and will be complete in a year. Doesn't sound TOO bad but we will see.

This is how I have been feeling lately. (on the right)

I have to remember the little voice inside my head can't be Satan's.
Thanks Mom for the reminder!

I always have to share pictures of my little lovebugs.
This little boy is almost 1. How can that be?

This little girl will go to preschool in the fall. How can THAT be?

Don't sweat the small stuff

Over the past month, I have been reminded that I have so much to be thankful for. Why did it take something so huge to be reminded of that?!? Now...I'm learning to not sweat the small things in life. Do they really matter? So, Emerson decides to pull all of her craft stuff out of the box so she can play or Hadden decides he is finished eating and throws the remaining food on the floor..Does it really matter???...No!

These people are way more important than the small stuff.

This question: 'Will this matter a year from now?'

When Life Gets Too Hard to Stand...Kneel

Holding these two just a little closer today.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,
for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (NIV)

“What it's like to be a parent: It's one of the hardest things
you'll ever do but in exchange
it teaches you the meaning of unconditional love.”
